Etherealization
Etherealization is UTDZ's signature progression system that enhances units using shards. Unlike Evolution (which transforms units), Etherealization amplifies existing stats and can unlock new abilities. It uses three shard tiers: Mythic, Exclusive, and Secret.

Core Mechanics
Etherealization stacks multiplicatively — a fully etherealized unit with Ruler trait and BiS relics represents the absolute power ceiling. Concentrate all shards on your main carry before spreading them across multiple units.
Advantages
A fully etherealized unit gains massive stat boosts (200%+ damage multiplier) and potentially unlocks new abilities. The power increase is permanent and multiplicative with traits and relics.
Challenges & Weaknesses
Shard farming is extremely slow — Secret shards come only from high-tier Raids with low drop rates. Spreading shards across multiple units before any is fully etherealized wastes their multiplicative potential.
